WORD: Verb prefixes

FOLDER: Un and dis recap: A folder of 2 PowerPoint files and 9 printable worksheets, recapping previous learning from Y1 and Y3

  • Prefixes un- dis- and mis-: Looks at the 3 prefixes; how they change the meanings of words; and words they can be added to.

SENTENCE: Indicating degrees of possibility using ADVERBS or MODAL VERBS

Degrees of possibility: Identifies different adverbs and modal verbs that can be used to indicate degrees of possibility.

Commas: Gives examples of what can happen if commas are omitted, and how they are important to the intended meaning.
