The /f/, /l/, /s/, /z/ and /k/ sounds are usually spelt as ff, ll, ss, zz and ck if they come straight after a single vowel letter in short words.
Each lesson explains the spelling rule, and gives examples of words for a class activity where the children can try to spell the words.
Each activity contains pictures and sentences with the relevant missing words for the children to spell. They are all in pdf format.
